Tradeloo

Privacy policy

Last updated 23 August 2026

This policy covers the Tradeloo website at tradeloo.app and the Tradeloo iOS app. Both are operated by the same person and share one account.

The short version. We store your email address and your name so you can sign in and so we know what your account may open. We do not track you, we do not profile you, we run no advertising or analytics, and we sell nothing to anybody. You can have all of it deleted at any time.

What is collected

DataWhyWhere it comes from
Email address Identifies your account and what it is entitled to open Your Google or Apple account, when you choose to sign in. Choosing Apple's Hide My Email means we receive a relay address instead of your own, and never see the real one
Name Shown to you in the app so you know which account is signed in Your Google or Apple account. Apple sends it once, when you first sign in, and never again
Google or Apple account identifier Links your sign-in to your account without storing a password Whichever provider you signed in with. Apple's identifier is specific to us and identifies you to nobody else
Last sign-in time Operating the service and spotting abuse Recorded when you sign in
Subscription status Deciding which tools your account opens Our payment processor, if you subscribe

We never receive or store your password. Sign-in happens on Google's own pages, or in Apple's own system dialog, and we are handed only the fields above.

What is not collected

You are not tracked. Nothing here is combined with data from other companies, used to build a profile, or shared with data brokers. The iOS app shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to ask for.

Market data

Charts are drawn from public market data. The app and the site fetch it directly from the sources below. These requests carry no account information — they are the same anonymous requests any visitor to those services makes, and they happen whether or not you are signed in.

Because your device contacts those services directly, they will see your IP address, as they would for any website you visit. We do not control and cannot see that.

Cookies

The website sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking and there is no advertising or analytics cookie. The iOS app uses no cookies at all; it holds a sign-in token in the device keychain.

How long it is kept

Your account details are kept for as long as the account exists. Delete the account and they are removed, other than anything we are legally required to retain — payment records, which our processor keeps for tax and accounting purposes for as long as the law requires.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time:

Deletion removes your email address, name, provider account identifier, sign-in history and every device session. If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple to revoke the credential, so the connection between your Apple ID and this app is severed at their end as well as ours. It cannot be undone, and any active subscription is cancelled at the same time.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, the EU or another jurisdiction with equivalent law, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to receive a copy. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Tradeloo is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be notified by email to signed-in accounts.
